Symbiosis International University, Dubai Campus, is seeking a technically skilled Lab Instructor to support the BCA and B.Tech Computer Engineering programs. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Computer Science or a related field, with hands-on expertise in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Linux operating systems, AI tools, Power BI, and NVIDIA GPU technologies.
Plan, organize, and conduct lab sessions for BCA/B.Tech. students.
Develop and implement lab exercises and activities that complement the BCA/B.Tech. curriculum
Provide guidance and support to students during lab sessions.
Assess and evaluate students’ performance in practical exercises.
Ensure all lab equipment is functioning properly and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
Stay updated with the latest developments in computer science and technology to enhance lab activities.
Conduct lab sessions for subjects such as Python Programming, Data Structures, IoT, Embedded Systems, Operating Systems, and Web Development.
Guide students in hands-on IoT projects using Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
Demonstrate practical applications using the Linux OS for shell scripting, networking, and open-source tools.
Assist students in data analysis and reporting using Power BI.
Facilitate workshops on AI tools (e.g., IBM Watson, Google AutoML).
Support students in implementing AI/ML projects using NVIDIA GPUs, including Jetson platforms.
Introduce CUDA programming and help accelerate computation-intensive workloads with NVIDIA GPU support.
Maintain and troubleshoot lab hardware, electronics kits, and networking setups.
Support faculty in curriculum implementation and lab planning.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
Practical knowledge of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and electronics prototyping.
Strong command of Linux OS and shell scripting.
Proficiency in Power BI, programming languages (Python, C/C++), and data structures.
Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and hands-on tools.
Working knowledge of NVIDIA GPU architecture, CUDA programming, and Jetson Nano platforms.
Extensive experience in conducting lab sessions and practical exercises in a BCA/B.Tech. or similar program.
Strong technical knowledge and proficiency with lab equipment and software.
Excellent communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.
Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
