Due to the ongoing situation in the region, we strongly encourage all students and staff at Symbiosis International University Dubai to stay safe and remain indoors as much as possible. Please stay informed by monitoring only reliable news sources and official government communications.
The safety of our staff and students remains our highest priority. The SIUD campus will remain closed until Sunday, 22 March 2026. Please do not travel to campus during this period.
On-campus classes are planned to resume from Monday, 23 March, following the Spring Break period, subject to guidance from the relevant UAE authorities.
Students who are unable to return to campus will have access to online classes until 5 April 2026, ensuring that academic progress is not disrupted.
SIUD students should continue to attend their scheduled online sessions and regularly check their student email and the university website for updates related to courses, assessments, and academic arrangements. Your respective faculty members and Programme Coordinators will be in touch with module-specific guidance.

Your faculty are aware of this guidance and will support you accordingly. Any disrupted sessions will be rescheduled once it is safe to do so.

We are committed to ensuring the continuation of your academic journey with minimal disruption. For students currently outside the UAE who are unable to return once on-campus classes resume, we will endeavour to provide continued access to remote learning where possible. This will be guided by directives from the relevant authorities, and affected students will be informed as further clarity becomes available. We encourage all students to follow guidance issued by your national authorities and make decisions that best suit your personal circumstances.
In line with the directive issued by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the revised Spring Break period is Monday, 9 March to Sunday, 22 March 2026.
This decision is consistent with national precautionary measures and applies to all higher education institutions across the UAE. Classes are paused during this period in accordance with the updated directive.
All university transportation services are suspended for the duration of the campus closure. This includes residential pickups and drop-offs, campus shuttles, and any associated transport arrangements. Services will resume once on-campus classes recommence. Further updates will be communicated in due course.
